Tendon tab

Used to prepare the set of the tend points for the tendon definition.

SettingDescription
Point set You can have more point sets (sets of similar points).

In the edit box the name of the point set can be edited and by clicking on the arrow the existing sets can be selected from a list.

Icon Description
Insert a new point set before the current point set.
Insert a new point set after the current point set.
Delete the current point set.
Note: No confirmation is required and this action cannot be undone.
Opens the Copy [point set name] dialog, which is used to copy the current point set to a new point set.
Reference line First reference line, which all points in a particular set will be related to, namely using the distance defined in the corresponding box below (distance to ref). By clicking on the arrow the potential reference lines can be selected from a list. The chosen reference line is displayed then in the cross section window as a blue line.
Distance to ref Distance of all the points of one point set from the reference line taken in parallel direction to the cross section axis (vertical or horizontal).
Up / Down / Left Right Sets the side referring to the reference line on which the points will be situated
Reference line 2 Second reference line, which the first point in a particular set will be related to, namely using the distance defined in the corresponding box below (distance to ref.2). By clicking on the arrow the potential reference lines can be selected from a list. The chosen reference line is displayed then in the cross section window as a blue line.
Distance to ref.2 Distance of the first point of one point set from the reference line 2 taken in parallel direction to the cross section axis (vertical or horizontal).
Up / Down / Left Right Sets the side referring to the reference line 2 on which the points will be situated.
Point distance Distance between the single points of one point set.
Absolute The distance is taken related to the cross section axes (vertical or horizontal).
On line The distance is taken along (or rather parallel) the first reference line.
Number of points Definition of the number of points in one particular point set.
First point name Name of the first point of one point set. All other points in the set will get the same name plus a number increased or decreased by a number in step edit box.

For example (using Step = 1): First point name: TP1 generates a series of TP1, TP2, TP3, … First point name: TP also generates a series of TP1, TP2, TP3, …

or (using Step = -1 for Number of points = 5): First point name: TP5 generates a series of TP5, TP4, TP3, … First point name: TP also generates a series of TP5, TP4, TP3, …

Step Step in the numbering for the naming of the stress labels (see First point name).

Point sets can also be selected by left-clicking on the different tendon point sets displayed in the cross section window. Right-clicking in the cross section window will invoke a pop-up menu where the display of point set names and tendon point names can be switched on and off - Show labels of point sets and Show labels of tendon points.
